Founded in 2009 from its parent company Mekaka General Business, Bilham evolved into a national pharmaceuticals & medical import & distribution organization. It had started its operations with a startup capital of 4.5 million USD and its annual turnover is around 10.3 million USD.

 

In just a few years, Bilham was able to grow its network into health facilities, wholesalers, and local manufacturers throughout Ethiopia. Likewise, Bilham was able to further expand its growth into the medical diagnostics business by representing leading companies in the field.

 

Bilham’s primary objective is to nourish its existing business relationships and develop new partnerships with manufacturers seeking to penetrate markets within the country, Ethiopia. Additionally, international manufacturers and suppliers targeted Bilham Pharmaceuticals in order to conquer and expand their markets into the country. currently, we have about 25 and more employees in our management and various departments which are still in expansion. Our technical team is staffed with competent professionals (including Biomedical Engineers and Pharmacists) which are experienced in dossier preparation, timely submission, consistent follow-up and acquisition of market authorization certificates from the Food and Drug Administration of Ethiopia (EFDA).

Runs the day to day operations, including direct involvement with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs, shipping lines, and all aspects for merchandise BILHAM currently distributes. Mr. Bilal Manages & oversees the company’s financial system.

Former Dossier Analyst at FDA Ethiopia. Mr. Anwar plays a crucial role in registration of products and acquisition of new market authorization. He manages the technical team through quick dossier preparation, timely submission and consistent follow up.
